Sleigh Your To-Do List: 7 Journal Prompts for a Productive Pre-Christmas Week

The holidays are upon us, and while it's a time for joy and celebration, it can also be a time of intense stress and overwhelm. With a to-do list that seems to grow longer by the minute, it's easy to lose focus and feel your productivity slipping.

But don't worry, we've got you covered! These seven journal prompts help you stay on track, prioritize your tasks, and even find moments of peace amidst the chaos. The best part? They only take a few minutes each day!

Your 7 Days of Focus:

  1. Monday: What are the three most important things I need to accomplish this week? Make that list and prioritize.

  2. Tuesday: How can I incorporate small moments of joy and self-care into my busy schedule this week? Is it the quiet time spent journaling? Is it watching a Christmas movie by the glow of your Christmas tree? Or meeting a friend for coffee?

  3. Wednesday: What distractions will likely derail my productivity this week, and how can I proactively minimize them? Don’t let yourself get derailed from what is most important.

  4. Thursday: Who can I contact for support or delegate tasks to this week? Don't be afraid to ask for help.

  5. Friday: What have I achieved this week that I'm proud of? Don't be afraid to celebrate your successes.

  6. Saturday: What on your list needs to get done today, and what can just be deleted from your list? It doesn’t matter if it gets done or not. Do you need to bake that extra batch of cookies? Do those baseboards need to be cleaned?

  7. Sunday:  Who deserves your gratitude today? Who helped you get through this busy week? Don’t just journal your gratitude. Reach out and say thank you.

Don't just write – reflect! After answering each prompt, take a few moments to consider your responses. What insights have you gained? How can you apply these reflections to enhance your productivity and well-being?
